Hadiths about the person who merits the most respect.

ʿAʾisha (ra), the mother of the believers, said: “…Khadija replied (to Muhammad), ‘Never! By Allah, Allah will never disgrace you. You keep good relations with your kith and kin, help the poor and the destitute, serve your guests generously and assist the deserving calamity-afflicted ones…’” (al-Bukhari, Badʾ al-wahy, 1)

Ibn ʿAbbas (ra) said, “When the verse, ‘Warn your nearest kinsfolk’ (al-Shuʿaraʾ, 26: 214) was revealed, Allah’s Messenger (saw) went out, and when he had ascended the hill of al-Safa he called out loud, ‘… Do you see? If I inform you that cavalrymen are proceeding up the side of this mountain, will you believe me?’ They said, ‘We have never heard you telling a lie …’” (al-Bukhari, al-Tafsir, (Lahab) 1)

Al-Miswar b. Makhrama and Marwan (ra) (whose narrations attest each other) said, “… ʿUrwa (b. Masʿud) returned to his people and said (on their way back after the Hudaybiyya talks), ‘O people! By Allah, I have been to the kings and to Caesar, Khosrau and Negus, yet I have never seen any of them respected be by his courtiers as much as Muhammad (saw) is respected by his Companions…’” (al-Bukhari, al-Shurut, 15)
